My library is divided in Three
sections: First editions and
biographies of Ernest Hemingway. Second: Books on New
York City History.
Third: The History of the Franco/American relationship.
Bronx Born, attended Catholic
schools, served in the U.S. Marines from 1966 to 1970, with one tour in Europe and one in Vietnam. Wrote a book about Vietnam titled "Beyond The Flag" I hated this title but is was picked by my publisher. I am retired from The New York Telephone Company
aka NYNEX aka Bell Atlantic aka Verizon where I worked as a Repairman and later as a Special Service Data Technician. I can honestly say I've been in every building and busines and interacted with every type of New York personality and street
habituate. I have worked at the very pinnacle of the Chrysler Building. Sadly I was also a 9/11 worker out of Verizon's 140 West Street Central Office for a while.
I consider one of the highlights of my life was when
Jacques Offenbach's "Barcarolle" was played for me in: New York, Paris, and Venice. My social highlight was being accepted as a member of "The Players"
